As we are winding down a whirlwind 2025, it’s time to celebrate the holiday season with family and friends. Let’s be honest; we could all use a break. Here’s to hoping you get some time to relax with a couple of tips and a new recipe to keep the good vibes flowing right in 2026!

  • Green Week Deals – Customer Appreciation Points: Stocking up properly is key, and most dispensaries are offering great deals the entire week of Thanksgiving. It’s worth a peek at those menus now to see when the things you buy will be on sale. It could be worth targeting a specific day to get the best deals. And if you are a regular at a specific spot, check if you are receiving “loyalty rewards” points that can be applied to reduced purchase prices. Every dollar counts.
  • Fast-Acting Edibles for Best Social Consumption Experience: One thing about smoking flower is the guaranteed fast onset. For those who can’t duck out for a traditional premeal mood setter, there are tons of fast-acting gummies, beverages, and food that can be that discreet dining table enhancement. Ask budtenders to learn about products on menus with fast-acting effects that come on in 7 – 15 minutes. Start slow and low, with the opportunity to “stack” or periodically add on to reach the desired effect, without the “green out” fears.
  • Precise Personal Dosing to Perfect Your Plate: Once plated, your piping-hot holiday meal can be enhanced on the spot with the right help. There is a growing category of infused food ready to elevate any meal. A pocket-sized Beard and Blaze hot sauce can easily add robust flavor and 5 , 10, or 20 mg (personal preference) to your Mac n Cheese, Stuffing, or Mashed Tatters! Straight fire!
  • Use The Math – Serving Size to Total Milligrams: When hosting a social consumption event, or adding an infused meal as an element to your holiday dinner party, you must be able to tell partaking guests what the “right amount is.” We know that’s the challenge. This is where math is our friend. No, seriously. Utilizing an exact amount of THC per recipe, evenly distributed, will produce an exact amount of mg per serving. For example, a bottle of Erba Liva olive oil is 20 mg total. If you use an entire Erba bottle to make a salad dressing which produces 10 total servings, the math tells us each serving of salad dressing is 2 mgs. This allows low-tolerance users an access point of 1 mg.

From our Second Act kitchen, to your dining table, we are wishing you holiday’s that are filled with great company and delicious bites.

  • Beard and Blaze Buffalo Chicken Dip: For those who don’t love Turkey, the Beard has your back this holiday season. A perfect Thanksgiving appetizer to mix it up, while burning down the house!
